Rent
This gives information about the rent payable for the property, the payee, VAT status, payment dates, bank details and whether the rent is on hold. This information is used to create the rent roll. Any sublet income will show up automatically here, this information coming from the Property Interest section.
If you click on [Edit] then you will be able to edit the rent payment details (if you have been given edit rights) or put the rent on hold. If entering data for โpayment toโ the payee must be set up within โCompaniesโ before linking. The bank details for the recipient enable the exact name of the rent receiverโs account to be recorded. These can be accessed by clicking on Bank Details for recipient.
If you click on [View ]then you see 3 tabs showing the rent details, the events relating to rent and the individual rent payments if using the enhanced rent roll facility. Manual rent payments can be entered here if required. Only those given rent edit rights can make amendments to the rent page.
If there is more than one property interest for the property, then the rent will show up within its own tab, along with a summary tab totalling the individual rent obligations.
